Welcome to DATE (“DATE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DATE website, mobile applications, services, features, and related platforms (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing, registering for, or using DATE, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. ABOUT DATE
DATE is an online dating and social connection platform designed to help people discover, communicate with, and connect with other users.
DATE provides tools for people to meet and communicate but does not guarantee that you will find a relationship, friendship, date, partner, or any particular outcome through the Service.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must meet the following requirements to use DATE:
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You must provide truthful and accurate information when creating an account.
You must not be prohibited by applicable law from using an online dating service.
You must not have previously been removed or permanently banned from DATE unless DATE has expressly authorized you to return.
By creating an account, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Certain DATE features may require you to create an account.

Contain hateful, threatening, abusive, or harassing material.
Contain prohibited sexually explicit content.

Contain malicious software, spam, or harmful links.
Be used for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
DATE may remove profile content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
5. USER CONTENT
“User Content” means photographs, videos, messages, comments, profile information, descriptions, and other material submitted or posted by users.
You retain ownership of the content you submit to DATE.
By submitting User Content, you grant DATE a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, process, format, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and promote the Service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit your User Content.
You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit.
6. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You agree not to use DATE to:
Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse another person.
Impersonate another person or organization.
Create fake identities for fraudulent purposes.
Defraud, scam, deceive, or financially exploit other users.
Request or distribute another person's passwords, financial information, or sensitive personal information.
Promote illegal activities.
Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
Use automated bots, scrapers, crawlers, or similar systems without authorization.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, servers, databases, or systems.
Introduce viruses, malware, malicious code, or other harmful technology.
Circumvent security or access restrictions.
Collect or harvest information about other users without authorization.
Sell, rent, transfer, or commercially exploit your account without permission.
Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
Publish unlawful, threatening, hateful, or abusive material.
Use DATE for prostitution, trafficking, exploitation, or other unlawful sexual activity.
Attempt to arrange or facilitate the exploitation of minors.
Use DATE for money laundering or other financial crimes.
Manipulate matches, likes, views, engagement, or other platform features through fraudulent activity.
Use DATE in a manner that interferes with the experience, security, or operation of the Service.
7. SAFETY AND PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Online dating involves risks, and you are responsible for exercising appropriate judgment when communicating with or meeting other users.
DATE cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, background, age, behavior, or authenticity of every user.
We encourage you to:
Get to know someone before meeting them.
Use DATE's communication features before sharing personal contact information.
Meet new people in public locations.
Tell a trusted person about your plans.
Maintain control of your transportation.
Avoid sending money to people you meet online.
Avoid sharing passwords, banking information, financial details, or highly sensitive personal information.
Report suspicious or abusive behavior.
Never send money to another user simply because they claim to have an emergency or request financial assistance.
8. REPORTING USERS
If you believe another user has violated these Terms, you may report the account or content using available reporting features or DATE support channels.
DATE may investigate reports and, where appropriate, remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts.
We do not guarantee that every report will result in a particular action.
9. BLOCKING USERS
DATE may provide features that allow you to block another user.
When you block someone, available platform features may restrict communication or interaction between you and that person.
Blocking a user on DATE does not necessarily prevent that person from contacting you through services outside DATE.
10. MODERATION
DATE may use automated systems, human review, safety technologies, and other methods to identify content or behavior that may violate these Terms.
We reserve the right, but do not guarantee, to monitor, review, restrict, remove, or disable content and accounts.
We are not obligated to monitor every interaction or piece of User Content.
11. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
DATE may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms.
You violate applicable law.
We reasonably believe your account presents a safety or security risk.
Your account is associated with fraud, abuse, spam, or prohibited activity.
You provide false or misleading information.
We receive credible reports concerning your conduct.
We are required to do so for legal or regulatory reasons.
We discontinue or materially change the Service.
You may stop using DATE and request account deletion where the applicable feature is available.
Following termination, provisions that by their nature should survive termination may continue to apply.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The DATE name, logo, branding, software, design, graphics, text, interfaces, trademarks, service marks, and other materials provided by DATE are owned by or licensed to DATE and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted, you may not:
Copy or reproduce DATE's proprietary materials.
Modify or create derivative works from the Service.
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code.
Sell, license, distribute, or commercially exploit DATE materials.
Use DATE trademarks or branding without written permission.
13. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
DATE may contain links, integrations, advertisements, payment services, or other features provided by third parties.
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
DATE is not responsible for third-party services, websites, products, content, or practices outside our control.
14. PAYMENTS AND PREMIUM FEATURES
DATE may offer free features as well as optional paid features, subscriptions, upgrades, boosts, credits, or other premium services.
Where paid services are offered:
Prices will be displayed before purchase.
You authorize the applicable payment provider to process your payment.
Applicable taxes or charges may apply.

If DATE offers subscriptions or recurring billing, the applicable billing terms will be displayed before you complete the purchase.
Refunds are subject to the DATE Refund Policy and applicable law.
15. ADVERTISING

Advertisers and third parties may have their own policies governing their products and services.
DATE does not necessarily endorse products or services advertised through the Service.

You should not assume that a user's profile information has been independently verified.
20. NO GUARANTEE OF USER AUTHENTICITY
DATE cannot guarantee that every profile belongs to the person represented in the profile.
Users may provide inaccurate information, and fraudulent accounts may occasionally exist.
You are responsible for independently determining whether you trust another user.
21. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DATE is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
DATE does not guarantee that:
The Service will always be available.
The Service will operate without interruption.
The Service will be error-free.
Information provided through the Service will always be accurate.
Matches or recommendations will meet your expectations.
You will meet a particular person.
You will establish a relationship through DATE.
All users are genuine, trustworthy, or accurately represented.
22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DATE and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
This may include losses resulting from:
User interactions.
Communications with other users.
Dates or meetings arranged through DATE.
User-generated content.
Unauthorized access.
Loss of data.
Service interruptions.
Third-party services.
Fraudulent or deceptive behavior by users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
23. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DATE and its owners, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:

Your User Content.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your violation of another person's rights.

24. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE

25. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Your continued use of DATE after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

29. NO WAIVER
If DATE does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean DATE has waived its right to enforce that provision in the future.
30. ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from DATE.
DATE may transfer or assign its rights and obligations as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or other lawful business transaction.
31. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
By using DATE, you consent to receiving electronic communications from us regarding your account, security, transactions, Service updates, and other matters related to your use of DATE.
You may manage certain communications through your account settings where such controls are available.
32. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS
By creating an account, accessing, or using DATE, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must stop using DATE.
